Lord, this is a time of anticipation and expectancy. We sense that something is coming. The bride is pregnant! We long to see revival and awakening birthed across the land.
As we wait, Lord, make us ready. Prepare is Lord for what is to come. Help us to be nourished by your Word and to get rid of what is unnecessary and unhealthy for us.
Lord, prepare us as a church. Help us to be patient in our expectation, yet ready to respond at the right time.
We ask that you protect what you are beginning to do until it is ready for birth. Give us the courage we need for this time as we look expectantly for many to be birthed into the Kingdom.
We pray for salvation and the Spirit, for the double blessing to come forth. Ready is and position us as individuals, and as your church, to be midwives.
Lord, this birthing process is painful. Contractions hurt, but out of the pain comes the joy!
So, Lord, we choose to fix our eyes on You. We align our hearts with Your plans and purposes, and we surrender our wills to Yours. We will never be the same again!
May it all be for your glory and praise O Lord. For we ask it in your name, Jesus, who endured the pain of the cross, that we might be born again. Amen.
